ADW Performance Team Audition Clinic 
May 13th-15th

 Thank you for your interest in the ADW Performance Team. The Performance Team is a selective team of young dancers who demonstrate excellence in dance and performing. Being on the team asks for a disciplined, hard-working dancer, who is interested in performing in recital, competing, and improving his or her dance skills in a wide range of dance styles. 

 

The Performance Team is not right for every student. Please read over these questions before considering auditioning for the team. 

•     Does your child want to dance four to six days a week? 

•     Does your child realize how many classes/dances that he/she must practice at home when recital time comes? 

•     Does your child like to get up in front of people and perform? 

•     Does your child realize that even though ballet may not be his or her favorite class, that it is the most important class? 

•     Are you and your child prepared to face the reality that each student is an individual, and some students may be stronger than your own in certain areas of dance? 

•     Are you prepared to discuss positive ways of looking at your child’s strengths and weak-nesses in order to help him or her become a better dancer? 

•     Are you prepared for the financial and time commitment that is required to be on a competitive dance​

• ​All dancers are to be present during their scheduled rehearsal times on Wednesdays from 3:45-6:00**
